On the domestic arena, at MCX Crude Oil for December contract closed at Rs 3,992.00, it touched a high of Rs 4,017.00 and a low of Rs 3950.00 after opening at Rs 4004.00. Crude Oil for January contract closed at Rs 4,055.00, it touched a high of Rs 4,081.00 and a low of Rs 4,024.00 after opening at Rs 4,076.00.
Gold for February contract closed at Rs 20485.00, it touched a high of Rs 20,510.00 and a low of Rs 20,410.00 after opening at Rs 20,470.00. Gold for April contract closed at Rs 20,680.00, it touched a high of Rs 20,702.00 and a low of Rs 20,605.00 after opening at Rs 20,677.00.
Silver for March contract closed at Rs 44,253.00, it touched a high of Rs 44,447.00 and a low of Rs 43,851.00 after opening at Rs 44,001.00.
Natural Gas for December contract closed at Rs 187.00, it touched a high of Rs 187.60 and a low of Rs 180.30 after opening at Rs 184.10. Natural Gas for January contract closed at Rs 190.80, it touched a high of Rs 191.40 and a low of Rs 184.50 after opening at Rs 188.30.
For all the crops that were damaged as a result of the recent downpours and floods, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy announced a scale of compensation of Rs 6,000 a hectare against Rs 4,500 that was announced previously.
